Context​

TheSandbox is one of the leading decentralized virtual worlds, featuring more than 400 global partners. OKcontract joined TheSandbox as an Ecosystem Partner to offer a dynamic tool to TheSandbox’s partners, brands, and agencies.

One of the common use cases is NFT minting that enables users to acquire game avatars and metaverse assets required to engage with the digital world. A landing page is created to promote a new game. OKcontract enables projects to create NFT minting interactions and effortlessly integrate them into their landing pages with a simple copy/paste.

Interaction Implementation​

Initially, creators need to create an NFT collection.

This interaction has one step. Developers need to:

  • whitelist their minting smart contract and NFT collection on the OKcontract platform
  • create their minting interactions by calling mint method of their smart contract
  • add a display image and NFT collection description
  • customize color theme

OKcontract platform generates an HTML code snippet that can be seamlessly integrated into a landing page. The widget enables users to interact with the smart contract to mint NFTs and authorize transactions via their Web3 wallets. A newly minted NFT will appear in their NFT portfolio on platforms such as OpenSea.

Results​

Minting interactions transform landing pages into Web3 native channels, facilitating NFT distribution and encouraging users to explore and engage with the game. They make the process of acquiring NFT assets straightforward, offering a dynamic and interactive user experience right from the website.
